Back to Basics

There is a lot of talk at the moment about how tight the market is. Across all sectors, business is down and consumer confidence is down.


It's easy to get caught up in the doom and gloom, but here is what I know:


When the going gets tough….. the tough get going.

  1. Get back to basics
  2. Offer enormous value
  3. Deliver more than you promise
  4. Care genuinely about your customer
  5. Work harder and smarter than the rest

I know I am…


So what are you waiting for? When a market squeezes, those who know how to sell and deliver, excel. You should seize market share when people are whingeing.


Get on with it and turn every negative conversation into the mindset of ‘Good. You keep thinking that.…I’m working here’.

  1. This is so true.

    People have made millions during horrible economic times while others have squandered millions during times of prosperity. This proves to me that the economy has little (if anything) to do with our success. Rather, it's what we do with our time which determines how well we do.
